Some moments in nature feel like they belong in a painting. This was one of them. A light mist hung over the wetlands as I adjusted my camera lens, watching a spotted deer (Chital) carefully step onto a small island of grass. It lowered its head to drink, its reflection shimmering in the still water—a perfect mirror image of nature’s harmony.

Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary never fails to amaze me. It’s a world where nature moves at its own pace, and every visit brings a new story. This deer, calm and unbothered, reminded me why I love capturing wildlife—the raw beauty, the untamed elegance, and the little reminders of how peaceful the natural world can be!
